Reblogged via StumblrMāori Tā Moko face marking was a sacred practice among the indigenous of New Zealand. Each moko design was unique to each individual, (no two designs were ever the same as they were never duplicated) and signified a young man’s transition from childhood to manhood. As well as representing rank and status these marks also had significant meaning to the wearer, symbolically connecting them to their ancestors and lineage.
Blue Sky = Kevin = Space core
I didn’t plan it out and just did it as i drew along so that explains the uh lop-sided boxes and messiness and why it’s so long so ignore dat prz thank you :V
I’m kinda speechless. WHAT A LOVELY IDEA! AND DANDELIONS AAAAAAH
the touches of colour and the little flashback at the end and Wheatley’s face and Chell’s expressions!-
I especially love that panel where Wheatley is craning his neck back over the chair. I always thought he’d have this weird habit of craning his neck at unnatural angles because a lot of the time he forgets he isn’t just a mobile head that can look in any direction and angle it wants, and that he is attached to a body via this weird restrictive stalk of a neck. And that panel looks exactly like that’s what he’s doing and baah I’m rambling THIS IS LOVELY
I love Kevin’s “role” in the whole Blue Sky system. However small it is, most of Wheatley’s character development is influenced by his blatherings, among many other influences of course. But Kevin kind of started it by making Wheatley desperate for conversation out in that big black void, desperate for further comradery, for respect. For Chell’s respect and her forgiveness. Mostly through annoying Wheatley and not listening to a word the spurned core said (and in the end when he was trying to tell Wheatley when he was about to be struck by the meteor, showing Wheatley he never really listened either).
And I love how Wheatley “names” him Kevin. It just made everything more personal between the cores and much, much sadder that Kevin never learned that Wheatley cared enough for the limited company to give it an affectionate-type of nickname. It only made everything more personal for Wheatley.
This comic made me tear up and smile. Bravo on using the dandelions as Wheatley’s somewhat-metaphoric-mostly-moronic way of repaying his little space buddy. The speech at the end really got me.
This got me. Hard.
So much that yet again when reblogging this I’ve lost the ability to words. Mrf.
This skull was discovered in France between 1920 and 1940. Its easily one of the more disputed and controversial artifacts of its time. The museum of supernatural history claims (through analysis) that the horns are in fact, naturally a part of the skull.
Holy fuck, there’s a Museum of Supernatural History?!
Kickass
